The Influence of Governance on Intellectual Capital in Textile Industry

This study is aimed to evaluate the impact of corporate governance index on intellectual capital performance by developing from five sub-indices and incorporating value-added coefficient (VAIC) methodology for performance. Fixed Random Effect Regression techniques have been used analyze data textile sector in Pakistan 2010 2014. The findings suggest a negatively significant while give mixed results. also investigates relationship individual variables each sub-index with results show namely independent director, audit committee, foreign shareholders ownership, gratuity, remuneration committee.This contributed empirical work literature performance.The outcomes this can be policymakers as an attempt boost sector. A modified (M-VAIC) future research.
